Theatr Bara Caws
In 2021, Matt worked with Theatr Bara Caws on their capital bid for a new theatre building as part of the proposed Nantlle Valley Health and Wellbeing Centre in Penygroes. He also undertook a marketing audit and created a 3-year marketing & communications plan. He is now working with Theatr Bara Caws on the development of a new business plan in support of the relocation.
The Funding Centre
During 2022, Matt has been working with Richard Tynen at The Funding Centre on a major strategic project for the Arts Council of Wales, National Museum Wales and the National Library of Wales.
Matt is working with Cause4 on its Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy programme, providing marketing support especially around an ambitious eLearning programme on FutureLearn.
He is also working on the Digital Heritage Hub project as part of a consortium led by the University of Leeds as part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Digital Skills for Heritage initiative.
Matt has been a marketing and audience development mentor for the Heritage Compass business support programme for small- and medium-sized heritage organisations across England, working with The Brickworks Museum and Serendipity.
Matt worked part-time as Interim Director of Audiences and Media at Birmingham Rep in November/December 2021.
Canolfan Ucheldre Centre
Matt worked with The Funding Centre in 2021 to develop a new business plan for Canolfan Ucheldre Centre in support of its proposed capital redevelopment project.
National Dance Company Wales
During 2021, Matt worked with National Dance Company Wales, providing support to their Communications Director.
